Cook Staff
As a cook, you will prepare healthy and tasty meals and snacks for the children in our centers. Following a menu and recipes developed by our in-house nutritionist, you’ll ensure our children have the fuel they need to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Develop standardized kitchen receipts for all the dishes.
- Develop the standardized kitchen purchase list according to the existing menu.
- Develop standardized receipts for each dish including snacks, meals, and bakery items, integrated with the kitchen management software Sonia Couto.
- Pay careful attention to the operating budgets of the department to ensure that costs are controlled to maintain the correct levels of spending.
- Supervise the preparation of all food.
- Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
- Order food and supplies.
- Dispense and store medication, as requested.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation according to Newstead and other licensing or regulation requirements.
