Hello! My name is Miss Dani and I am so excited and grateful for my new journey at Newstead Academy! I have completed an honours degree in the Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in child development at the University of Ottawa and am currently going into my second year of my bachelor of education at York University. I adore working with children and being an active participant in their growth and development. I have experience working with children aged 18 months to 17 years in a variety of settings including camps, tutoring, gymnastics and the public school system. I have had amazing opportunities working with children with autism as well as oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). My favourite colour is pink and my passion is teaching! I am energetic and always exploring different educational techniques. Outside of school I play rugby and spend time with my friends and family. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or come say hi in the kindergarten room. I am so excited to get to know all the Newstead families!!
