Hello! My name is Elena, and I'm thrilled to join the vibrant team at Newstead Academy Child Care. I completed my studies in Early Childhood Education at Centennial College, where I gained invaluable insights and skills to support the developmental journey of young children. Children are incredibly endearing to me, and my approach to childcare is rooted in a deep-seated belief that every child is as unique and special as my own. Having worked for two years in a primary school in north-eastern China, I bring a unique perspective to educating and caring for children. My personal experience as a mother allows me to connect with children on a profound level, seeing them all as my own, and this connection is what makes my work immensely fulfilling. Apart from my dedication to childcare, I have a passion for the great outdoors, enjoying activities like scuba diving, skating, and snowboarding. These hobbies not only rejuvenate me but also bring a sense of adventure and joy that I love to share in my interactions at the daycare. At Newstead Academy, I am eager to create an environment that fosters independence and confidence in every child, helping them navigate their early years with enthusiasm and self-assurance. I look forward to building lasting relationships with all the children and families here, contributing to their lives in meaningful ways and watching them grow and thrive.
