Greetings! I am Nahid Meraji, and you are welcome to address me as 'Nana'. It is truly an honor and joy for me to become part of the Newstead community. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have over 18 years of professional experience.During my teenage years, my independent studies focused on psychoanalysis and baby psychology, which laid the foundation for my passion in understanding child development. Since relocating to Toronto, I have immersed myself in working with children, aiming to positively impact their formative years.I firmly believe that instilling values of love, compassion, and kindness, alongside fostering self-confidence, learning, and personal growth, are paramount for my students. These virtues serve as the foundation for a complete and meaningful life.Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a lifeguard and have a background in playing wind instruments in musical ensembles in Iran. I also have a deep passion for woodcarving and the arts and hiking.I look forward to nurturing values and fostering personal growth at Newstead Academy.
