Hello, everyone! I'm Nikita, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Newstead Academy team as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. With a passion for fostering the growth and development of young minds, I have over 10 years of experience working with children. I hold a diploma in Early Childhood Education from Seneca College as a graduate in 2013. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in child development, curriculum planning, and creating a nurturing environment that stimulates cognitive, social, physical and emotional growth. I believe that each child is a unique individual with their own strengths, interests, and learning styles. My teaching approach is child-centered, encouraging exploration, creativity, and a love for learning. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where children feel valued, respected, and empowered to express themselves. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with diverse age groups, from infants to school agers. I have gained valuable insights into tailoring educational experiences to meet the individual needs of each child. My experience extends to collaborating with families to ensure a holistic and supportive approach to a child's development. Outside the classroom, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors and going on spontaneous adventures. I also enjoy searching up new recipes from around the world and take on the challenge of creating these beautiful delicious dishes.
