RECE, Kindergarten Room Teacher

Hello my name is Shae-Lynn but you can call me Shae. I am so excited to be joining the team here at Newstead Academy. I have worked as an ECE for the past 6 years and I have always loved working with children and watching them explore the world around them. A child’s early years are so exciting to experience with them as they have such a large sense of wonder and willingness to learn. Every conversation with a child offers great opportunity to learn, which is why teaching based on the children’s interest is very important to me. When I’m not at work I can be found enjoying movies with friends and spending time with my family. I also love watching and playing different sports, soccer being my favourite. I look forward to creating a warm and welcoming environment for your children to learn and grow!
